Find and submit products with unsubmitted changes [Jun 17, 2026]

🗓️ Release date: June 17, 2026
💻 Solutions: Sustainable Sourcing

We have released an improvement in Product Mapping to make it easier to identify products where supply chain information has been updated, but the latest changes have not yet been submitted to your stakeholders.

This is especially relevant for importers working with product mapping requests where supply chain information has been updated after the latest submitted response.

💡 For example, an importer may receive updated supply chain information from a producer or another party involved in the mapping process. While these updates are saved, they are not automatically shared with the stakeholder requesting the information from the importer. The importer needs to review and submit the updated response for the latest changes to be shared.

What has changed?

You can now see when products have changes that have not yet been submitted.

In Product mapping → All products, a yellow banner will appear if your company has products with unsubmitted changes. This banner is shown regardless of whether you access the page from Transparency or Sustainable Sourcing.

The banner shows how many products need attention and lets you filter the product list directly.

How to find products with unsubmitted changes

  1. Log in to Worldfavor.

  2. Go to Product mapping.

  3. Open All products.

  4. Look for the yellow banner at the top of the product list.

  5. Click Apply filter.

  6. The product list will now only show products with changes that have not been submitted.

  7. Open each product in the filtered list.

How to submit the latest changes

After opening a product with unsubmitted changes:

  1. Scroll to Your supply chain.

  2. Review the current supply chain information.

  3. If there is a yellow banner saying that the product has unsubmitted changes, click View.

  4. A modal opens where you can compare:

    • the latest value chain that was submitted

    • the new response with the latest changes

  5. Review the information.

  6. Select the correct Mapping status.

  7. Click Submit responses.

Once submitted, the latest supply chain changes are shared with the stakeholder that requested the product mapping.

FAQ / More information

Why am I seeing a banner about unsubmitted changes?

You are seeing this banner because one or more product supply chains have been updated in Worldfavor, but the latest changes have not yet been submitted to your stakeholder.

This means the changes may be saved in your account, but they have not yet been shared.

What does “unsubmitted changes” mean?

It means that the product’s supply chain has been changed since the latest submitted response.

To share the latest version with your stakeholder, open the product, review the changes, and submit the response.

I already updated the supply chain. Do I still need to submit it?

Yes. Updating or saving a supply chain is not the same as submitting it.

The latest changes are only shared with your stakeholder once you submit the response.

Where do I find the products that need to be submitted?

Go to Product mapping → All products

If you have products with unsubmitted changes, you will see a yellow banner at the top of the page. Click Apply filter to show only the affected products.

What happens when I click “Apply filter”?

The product list is filtered to show only products with changes that have not yet been submitted.

You can then open each product, review the supply chain, and submit the latest response.

What is the difference between the latest submitted value chain and the new response?

The latest submitted value chain is the version that has already been shared with your stakeholder.

The new response is the updated version that includes your latest changes. This is the version that will be shared when you click Submit responses.

Do I need to submit all products shown after applying the filter?

You should review each product in the filtered list.

If the latest supply chain information is correct and ready to be shared, submit the response for that product.

What happens if I do not submit the changes?

Your stakeholder will not have access to the latest product supply chain information.

I do not see the yellow banner. What should I do?

Make sure you are in Product mapping → All products

If you do not see the banner, you may not have any products with unsubmitted changes, or the relevant products may already have been submitted.

You may also need to confirm that you are logged in to the correct organization, if you have access to several.

I clicked “Submit responses”. What happens next?

The latest supply chain response is submitted and shared with your stakeholder. The product should no longer appear as having unsubmitted changes once the response has been submitted successfully.

Who should I contact if I still need help?

If you are unsure what to submit or cannot complete the steps above, please contact Worldfavor Support.
