How to add your company to the platform and link it to your user account

To start reporting, or collecting, ESG data in Worldfavor, you need to register your organization in the platform. To register your organization, you must first sign up for your personal account, which is explained in detail here. This article will guide you through the steps to register your organization in the platform.

❗️Note! This article explains adding a new organization to Worldfavor. If your organization is already on the platform, gain access through a colleague's invitation. Refer to our guide for inviting colleagues.

How to register your organization in Worldfavor

πŸ’‘Tip! If you've been invited by a stakeholder, make sure to utilize referral link in the invitation email. This ensures seamless linkage between your organization and your stakeholder's account, simplifying the process of sharing ESG data.

After you've logged in, click on the 'Add organization' button visible on the right side of the landing page to start registering your organization. In the subsequent steps, you'll then be asked to fill in some basic information about your organization.

  1. In step 1, fill in necessary details on your organization, such as

    1. name*

    2. website*

    3. address*

  2. In step 2, you're asked to enter your organization's

    1. VAT number

    2. number of employees*

    3. revenue of the organization

  3. In step 3, you'll need to specify your organization's

    1. industry*

    2. sub-industry*

  4. Finally, in step 4, you're asked to confirm that the information you've entered is correct and that you agree to be the public contact person of the organization

Steps marked with a * are mandatory.

After you have completed all steps, your organization will be automatically approved if you have used a referral link and the system can't detect any duplicates.

❗ Note: If you didn't use a referral link during registration or if there's a potential duplicate in the system, your organization may undergo manual review by Worldfavor. In such cases, Worldfavor support typically contacts you within 24 hours (on business days) for any follow-up questions before approving your organization.

Time for approval depends on how quickly we receive an answer to our follow-up questions. Not receiving any questions may result in is denying your registration. The follow-up email is sent from help@worldfavor.com.

What to do if your company doesn't have a website

As of now, websites are used as a sort of unique identifier in the platform. If your organization doesn't have a website, you can write something like nameofyourorganization.com, even if no such website would exist. That would allow you to save the answers.

What to do if you can't find your company's address

If you can't find the full address of your organization, it's enough that you give the name of the city as well as the country. This information is used to help our customers locate where in the world their reporting organizations are, as well as for risk indices used in the platform.

I made a typo or entered wrong information when registering my organization. What should I do?

No worries if you entered the wrong information when you registered your organization. Once approved, you can update the information in your company configurations. Detailed instructions here.

I was invited by a stakeholder but forgot to use the invitation link. What should I do?

If you were invited by a stakeholder but didn't use the referral link, please reach out to Worldfavor support and tell us who invited you. Then, we can manually link you once approved.

πŸ€” What's a referral link?

A referral link is a unique URL generated by Worldfavor customers, which they can then distribute to reporting organizations such as suppliers, portfolio companies, subsidiaries, etc. When these organizations register on the platform using the referral link, they are seamlessly added to the customer's list of reporting organizations upon approval. This streamlined process simplifies the collection of ESG data, enhancing efficiency and facilitating comprehensive sustainability reporting.

If your organization is already approved, you can either reach out to your stakeholder or Worldfavor support and either can manually add you as a reporting organization.

I already have an organization in the platform and now I got an invitation from one of our stakeholders to report to them.

If your organization is already registered in the platform and you receive an invitation to report to one of your stakeholders, please follow the link that they've sent you. Once logged in, you will have the option to add your already existing organization as a reporting company.

I'm asked to add my organization's VAT number when registering. What is that and do I need to add it?

A value-added tax identification number (VAT number) is a unique identifier used in many countries, including the European Union, for value-added tax purposes. Adding the VAT number when registering is not mandatory.

Why are Worldfavor asking for revenue and company size?

A lot of legislations are applicable for companies above a specific revenue and company size, this information will help us to create a more personalized experience in the platform. This information is not mandatory.
