How to change your organization's public contact person(s) in Worldfavor

In Worldfavor's Transparency solution, every organization is required to have a designated public contact person. This person's name, job title, email, and phone number are visible to stakeholders who have added your organization to their list of suppliers, portfolio companies, or subsidiaries. This feature ensures that stakeholders can easily identify the appropriate contact for any inquiries.

By default, the person who registers the organization becomes the public contact person, but this can be updated at any time through the organization settings. Admin access is required to make these changes, and you can designate multiple public contact persons for your organization.

Where to manage public contact person(s)

To view or change the public contact person(s) for your organization, navigate to your organization settings within the Transparency solution. You must have admin access to reach this page. Once in the organization settings, go to the 'Colleagues' page. Public contact persons are marked with a small globe icon next to their name.

How to add or remove yourself as a public contact person

Add yourself as a public contact

To add yourself as a public contact person:

  1. Click the three dots next to your name .

  2. Toggle on the public contact person indicator.

  3. A pop-up will appear, detailing the information that will be shared. Click "Confirm" to proceed.

As a public contact, your name, email, job title, and phone number will be visible to companies connected to your organization on Worldfavor.

Remove yourself as a public contact

To remove yourself as a public contact person:

  1. Click the three dots next to your name .

  2. Toggle off the public contact person indicator.

Add or remove someone else as a public contact person

Add someone else as a public contact

Due to GDPR reasons, you cannot add someone as a public contact person. Instead, your colleague must log in to the platform and add themselves. They will need admin access to do this. If they do not have admin access, follow the steps described here before instructing them to proceed.
